Our Work

Candidate evaluations

Using the International Holocaust Remembrance Alliance (IHRA) definition of antisemitism adopted by the United States and more than 40 other countries, we vet candidates for political office to evaluate their documented words and actions within this framework.

Candidate assessments for select Pennsylvania primaries now available

Voter education

We surface information about politicians, pending bills, voting plans, and other issues vital to the wellbeing of the Jewish community to ensure an informed electorate.

We are currently working on the following:

  • Due to the Pennsylvania primary date falling on the first day of Passover, we are educating voters about alternate voting plans
  • We are monitoring hate crimes legislation that pertains to protections for the Jewish American Community in Harrisburg.
  • We are meeting with local elected officials on a regular basis about the rising tide of antisemitism and what actions they can take to protect their constituents.

Candidate support

Our affiliated group, Beacon Coalition Political Act Fund, will provide explicit support to politicians who demonstrate a commitment to fighting antisemitism in all its forms.
